Getting around the tree (website)

On the website, open a person and choose Tree. There's one tree page with four views you switch between:

  • Family (the default) β€” a pan-and-zoom canvas centered on one person, showing ancestors, spouses, and children, with β€œ+ Add” cards on empty parent slots.
  • Pedigree β€” a clean left-to-right column chart of ancestors.
  • Fan β€” a fan/coverage chart that shows at a glance how complete each branch is.
  • Descendants β€” an indented outline you expand to walk down through children.
  1. Tap any person card to re-center the tree on them.
  2. Use the generations control to show more or fewer generations.
  3. Use your browser's print to save a chart as a PDF.
