Merging duplicate people (admin)

If the same person ended up entered twice in your own tree, an admin can merge them so their photos, facts, and links all fold together.

Open the person you want to keep, open the edit menu, and choose Merge into another person.
Search for and pick the duplicate.
Confirm. The two become one, keeping everything from both.

Merging only works within a single tree. Two different members' versions of the same person are connected by hints, not merged.
