There are two easy ways to grow your branch.
From an empty slot on the tree
When a person is missing a parent, the tree shows a dashed “+ Add father” / “+ Add mother” card. Tap it and give the new parent a name — they're added to your tree and linked in one step.
From a person's edit menu
- Open the person and tap the edit (pencil) menu.
- Choose Add a relative.
- Pick the relationship (father, mother, spouse, child, sibling) and enter the name.
You can only add relatives to people in your own tree. To build on someone you found in a relative's tree, accept the matching hint first (it copies them into your tree), then add to them.
