Family ForestTagging faces & naming people
Open a photo to see the face boxes the recognizer found. Tag them to connect the photo to people.
- Tap Tag people (or a face box).
- Search for a person in your tree, or create a new one.
- Tag them — the photo now appears in that person's gallery, and vice-versa.
You tag people from your own tree. If a face is a relative who lives in someone else's tree, accept the matching hint first (it copies them into yours), or add them to your tree, then tag.
The photo's original file name is always shown — often the only clue to who's in an old scan, so it stays visible even after you rename the photo.
