Your first 15 minutes

A good order to start in:

1. Look around. Open the Tree and the Photos tabs and browse — the whole family archive is already there to explore.
2. Find yourself and your close family. Use Search (top of the screen) to find people by name.
3. Add your branch. On a person, use the edit menu to add relatives, or on the tree use the “+ Add father / + Add mother” cards on empty slots.
4. Add a few photos. On your own person's page, tap Add by Photos to upload from your phone.
5. Name some faces. Open Name faces to put names to the groups the recognizer found — one name covers every photo that face appears in.
6. Check Discoveries after a day or two — hints connecting your tree to relatives' trees show up there.
