Conflicts: facts that disagree

The Conflicts queue flags places where a fact in a tree disagrees with a source — for example, a death year on a headstone photo that doesn't match the tree — or where dates don't add up (someone appearing in a photo taken after they died).

  1. Open Conflicts (app: Me tab → Conflicts; website: the Conflicts page).
  2. Each card shows “Tree says” vs. “Source says.”
  3. Accept the source to update the tree, or Dismiss if the tree is right.
  4. For an old memorial or composite photo where people had already passed, mark it “not a real conflict.”
