Family ForestTwo-factor authentication (2FA)
Two-factor adds a 6-digit code from an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.) on top of your password. It's optional but recommended.
Turning it on
- Open Account & security → Two-factor authentication.
- Start enrollment — a QR code appears.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
- Enter the 6-digit code the app shows to confirm. 2FA is now on.
On the mobile app, once 2FA is on you can turn on biometric unlock so you use your fingerprint or face instead of typing a code every time.
To turn 2FA off, open the same screen and choose disable (you'll confirm with your password).
